Shauni quickly ate a few, knowing that eventually the fish in her backpack would need to be eaten, though she didn't feel like seafood just yet.

Noting that she was being ignored, she just kept quiet and continued walking.

the Evee kept running aroung shauni's legs as a very warm sensation where a tail used to be was burning a tail sized hole through her pants

Shauni and her clothes were just fine, and she stared at Alexis for a few minutes, shaking her head even more.

Shauni's underclothing was kinda gone now as Alexis perched on Shauni's foot nibbling hyperly at socks

It didn't really matter, because Shauni had more in her bag that was immune to fire and such. She would change into them when they reached town, and that was that. No more clothes would burn, because all her clothes could withstand it.

She snorted, wiggling her foot for a moment to knock Alexis off, but when it didn't work, just sighed and continued walking. Maybe she'd stop when they made it to the next route.
